Govt Working Tirelessly for Developmental of Telangana: Minister Jupally Krishna
Minister Jupally Krishna Rao released a book on Tuesday
Hyderabad: Minister for Tourism Jupally Krishna Rao said the State government is tirelessly working for the welfare and development of the State.
He emphasised that revolutionary schemes are being implemented aimed at uplifting marginalised communities, especially women, youth and Dalit-Bahujan groups in Telangana.
The Minister made these remarks during the release of a book “Pragathi Pathamlo Praja Palana”, a collection of 80 songs curated by the Telangana Language and Cultural Department and the Telangana Cultural Association.
During the event, Minister Jupally Krishna Rao said these songs, composed by artists from the Telangana Cultural Association, play a significant role in communicating the government's welfare schemes to the public.
He specifically mentioned schemes like Gruha Lakshmi, Gruha Jyothi, free bus services, Rythu Bharosa, loan waivers for farmers, and employment opportunities for the youth through the efficient conduct of competitive exams. Jupally stressed that these initiatives are designed to benefit all sections of society, ensuring overall development.
The Minister also noted Telangana's rich cultural heritage and its significance in tourism, emphasising the need for awareness about good lifestyle practices through folk-inspired songs in the local language.
He urged poets, artists, literary figures, and writers across Telangana to support the government's welfare activities by spreading awareness.
The event was attended by several notable figures, including Mamidi Harikrishna, Director of the Language and Cultural Department, and artists from the Telangana Cultural Association such as Yash Pal, Jalaja, Devatha Sudhakar, and Vijay Kumar.
